Did you know that Rick Riordan has a new series starting that is a lot like this one? The first book is called The Red Pyramid. I liked it a lot. It's also about kids who find out that their parents are much more than they seem. Like the Lightning Thief, but with an Egyptian theme. You'd like it!
I've read most of the Percy Jackson seies we just need the last book so I can finish it.
