It is a perfect fall afternoon, so Prue and her little brother Mac decide to enjoy it at the park. All is well until Prue spots a flock (Or murder, if you prefer) of crows in the distance, coming closer to her and Mac every second. The crows swoop down and snatch Mac away, soaring over to the Impassable Wilderness. Prue decides to bring Curtis, one of her classmates, with her to descend into the Impassable Wilderness and to reunite with Mac. Unfortunately soon after Prue and Curtis reach the forest, Curtis is snatched by coyote soldiers. In the coyote's hideout Curtis learns that the Dowager Governess plans to sacrifice Mac to the ivy, a plant that destroys everything in it's path! Wildwood was definitely one of the best books I have ever read. Ever. It was funny, suspenseful,
adventurous, and filled with amazing illustrations. Once you finish it I know you'll be craving for more. Wildwood is a great book for boys and girls of all ages.
